Description:
The Incense cedar tree stays small but then it grows big; about 70-110 ft tall! The leaves are green and the bark is brown.
Geography:
The tree grows in Asia and in North America. Incense cedar grows in California and Oregon.
Growing Conditions:
This cedar tree grows very well in sun and moist soil. The California incense cedar does not need that much water.
Survival Traits:
Incense cedar can live in different kinds of soil. They have cones that drop seeds that will eventually turn into a tree.
Wildlife:
Birds and squirrels live in incense cedar trees.
Lifecycle and Reproduction:
First the tree makes cones. Then the seeds drop out of the cones and then the seeds grow into a tree.
Interesting Facts:
It is interesting that this tree can grow 70 to 110 feet! Incense cedar has a strong smell of cedar.
