Western Cone Flower

Rudbeckia occidentalis

Description:
The plant is spiky but not pokey. Petals on the Coneflower can be different colors, sometimes dark or light green, sometimes very colorful and they're tall and strong. They're 2 or 3 ft tall but sometimes 6 ft tall.

Interesting Facts:  
Some names of the plant are Hedgehog Coneflower, and Scurvy Root. Height is 6 feet to 2 feet tall and 12 to 24 inches wide. The leaves look like ovate but the sides are smoother.  Leaf placements are random. The leaves are green and also the pedals are green for a western coneflower .
