Getting Here

We want to make your journey to Oxford painless whether you are visiting for the Pride day, Pride festival or just coming to check out the local LGBT scene with a spot of shopping and to see the local tourist sights. Oxford is approximately 60 miles northwest of London and has excellent public transport links which also connects Oxford to London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted and Birmingham International airports.

By Rail

Great Western Railway operate a direct service between Oxford and London Paddington usually every 30 minutes with a journey time of approximately 58 minutes and CrossCountry between Oxford and Birmingham New Street for the north of England departing usually every 30 minutes. The pride event site is just a 10 minute walk.

Other services operate from the north via Birmingham New Street; from the South via Reading; and from the west via Didcot or Reading.

Oxford Parkway Station operates services to/from London Marylebone and is also a Park & Ride site.

By Coach

The Oxford Tube and X90 operate a 24 hour service departing Central London every 12-30 minutes.

The Airline operates a near 24 hour service departing London Heathrow usually every 30 minutes with a journey time of approximately 80 minutes and London Gatwick generally every hour with a journey time of approximately 2 hours 30 minutes.

National Express and Megabus also operate a frequent service to other major cities and airports from Oxford Gloucester Green Coach Station.

Westgate Shopping Centre is a multi-story pay on exit car park which is open 24 hours a day and has 1,000 car parking spaces. Nearest post code for sat nav devices is OX1 1SL.

Oxpens Car & Coach Park is pay & display, open 24 hours a day and has 420 car parking spaces. Nearest post code for sat nav devices is OX1 1RQ.

Worcester Street Car Park is pay & display, open 24 hours a day and has 180 car parking spaces. Nearest post code for sat nav devices is OX1 2BQ.

Park & Ride

Park & Ride is the easiest way to get into Oxford with journey times into the City Centre every 10-15 minutes during peak times. Simply park your car, make a single payment and catch the bus into the City Centre! There are five Park & Ride sites with some sites equipped with EV charge points for electric car drivers.

Redbridge

Located off the A34 from Abingdon, Didcot and Newbury. This site is located to the south of the city. Post code OX1 4XG.
