Bullitt County is one of five innovative districts in the nation highlighted in a Next Generation Learning Challenges report "The Portrait of a Graduate in Practice" (May 2023). An Oldham elementary school was highlighted for their STEM "cardboard arcade" student projects (2/9/23).
Several OVEC districts (Owen, Bullitt, Trimble, Shelby, Eminence) are highlighted in a CompetencyWorks blog on deeper learning in Kentucky (1/25/23).
Oldham and Shelby teachers were highlighted for their innovative use of game-based learning in this January 2023 Kentucky Teacher article.
Trimble and Bullitt highlighted their innovative journey in a December 2022 KASS session (see Slides here).

Shelby County Public Schools was the only Kentucky district mentioned by name in a March 2022 report by Next Generation Learning Challenges "What Made Them So Prepared?", highlighting their innovative work during the pandemic.
Jefferson County Public Schools has a Backpack of Success Skills website, full of resources detailing their work on their Profile of a Graduate.
iLEAD Academy (consisting of students from Carroll, Gallatin, Henry, Owen, and Trimble Counties) is featured in an Education Week article (4/23/18).
