These sessions provide a valuable opportunity to share best practice, explore curriculum design, and engage in professional dialogue around subject leadership. With a focus on strategic planning, Q&A, and discussion, the network supports the delivery of high-quality RS and PD provision across our academies.

The session will provide attendees with:

• An understanding on the classification of medicine, legislation and guidance on the safe management of medication in schools and the best practice.

• Training from a medical practitioner on anaphylaxis signs and symptoms, and a competency assessment in the safe administration of adrenaline auto-injectors (Epipens).

This training is all about training and empowering all staff across Outwood who regularly manage the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process. An RFQ is a formal way of inviting suppliers to submit a bid for a specific product or service, ensuring you get the best value for money.  Navigating procurement can seem daunting, but it's a vital part of running an effective MAT. A transparent and efficient procurement process ensures public funds are used wisely and helps you meet legal and financial obligations, such as those set out in the new Procurement Act 2023 and the Academies Financial Handbook.

By the end of this session, you'll be able to:

• Understand the rules: Learn the key procurement thresholds and how to follow them correctly.

• Get the best value: Know how to create a clear RFQ that attracts competitive and quality bids.

• Reduce risk: Ensure your processes are fair and compliant, protecting the Trust from legal or financial issues.

The session will provide attendees with an opportunity to use exemplar materials to create a standardised approach to marking this year's coursework.

• This day-long CPD session will offer insights in the GCSE English Literature specification and its assessment structure. It will help colleagues to develop their understanding of recent assessments through a review of exemplar materials and marking practice. Colleagues will also develop and improve their understanding of subject themes, topics and skills which will be valuable in the classroom. Colleagues will also be able to network with subject specialists and colleagues from schools across OGAT.

• This session is designed for staff who regularly will be using OCloud to assist them leading on behaviour.  It is highly recommended that leaders new to leading in Deep Support attend.  The session will demonstrate key functions of OCloud to ensure it is being used effectively.  We will look at future developments and explain how staff can suggest new features.  Staff from our central Trust digital service team will be available to assist questions that arise during the session.  This will be a virtual meeting.
