9/21 - 9/24

Friday, 9/25 is a professional development day for teachers so there is no school for students.

Here are some things to expect this week:

  • Grade 6-12 students will receive progress reports. The first quarter ends on 10/9 and the quarter grade will be recorded on your child's transcript.

  • Weekly outcomes that tell what your child is learning (see elementary examples by grade)

Make sure to:

  • Ask what your child is learning and see explore "OUSD Curriculum" above.

  • Celebrate your child's progress and determine areas to improve in the coming weeks.

  • Visit teacher office hours to determine how you can support.

Technology Support:

  • Internet Access at Home (Hotspots and Smartphones): Contact Oakland Tech Exchange @ 510.866.2260

  • Loaner Chromebook or Aeries Issues: Please call 510.879.1211 for the OUSD Support Hotline

  • Chromebook login issues, please contact your student's teacher or school for username and password.


Community Activity Guide for students: Art, sports, and more! All are free or discounted.

"Grab and Go" free meals Starting Sep 3, meals are again open to ALL children in Oakland. Families no longer need to show proof that their child attends an OUSD school.
