RESOURCE

Hello!! My name is Mrs. Mathew! Last Fall, I married my wonderful husband, Clinton. We have a black Labrador retriever named Kylo Ren (yes, we named him after Kylo Ren from Star Wars). I attended the University of Saint Francis and earned my degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education with high honors. I am beginning my education career and am looking forward to continuing my career here at Our Lady Of Good Hope Catholic School. I’m excited to make this upcoming school year the best school year ever!
Hi, my name is Sara Becker, and I am the K-4 resource teacher at Our Lady School. This will be my 2nd year teaching resource at Our Lady, and I am excited to welcome students back for another great school year. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Indiana University and also a Master of Science degree in Language Education from there as well. I have taught various grade levels and subject areas in both public and parochial schools over the past 14 years. I am a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish. My hobbies include spending time with my family and cheering on the Chicago Cubs.
Hi! I'm Mindy Haffner, Our Lady's part-time special education teacher. My husband Ross and I have been parishioners since 2014, and we have three children: Jessica, 4; Gwen, 2; and Louis, 5 months. I feel blessed to be a part of this school and parish as Catholic education has always been a major and valued part of my life.I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Special Education from Regis University, a Jesuit college in Denver, CO. I became passionate about discovering ways to help each child reach his or her full potential; most importantly those with various exceptionalities; which led me to earn a Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of Colorado at Denver. My career began in a literacy center at an elementary school in Denver, CO. One year later, my husband and I decided to move home to Fort Wayne to start our family. Meanwhile, I continued to teach as a special education teacher and a reading interventionist for FWCS for five consecutive years. Overall, I am now starting my ninth year of teaching, and my third year here at Our Lady School. I look forward to collaborating with teachers and parents to provide all students a Christ-centered education of the whole person.
