Exceptions Processing
Exceptions processing is when an individual can't meet the minimum requirements from the Identification Requirement Charts for the DMV.

You can fill out the application for exceptions processing when you visit the DMV or save time by printing and filling out the application here.
Applicants who are accepted with the appropriate paperwork will receive their ID in the mail 1-4 weeks from submitting. Applicants won't receive a temporary document.
