I am thrust SSC because I’m super fast.
I’m a sunhat because I like outside.
I’m a monkey playing trees.
I’m the sky tower because I’m strong.
I’m a Pohutukawa tree swaying in the wind.
I’m a soccer ball flying through the air.

This is my poem we are using metaphors to write them.A metaphor is a phrase that is used to make a compare two things that aren't the same but they are similar.
Why you should buy solar panels!
Did you know one second of our sun's energy could produce enough energy for all the world's needs for 500,000 years!
Firstly solar panels produce a renewable source of energy which means solar will never run out.Nuclear energy,fossil fuels,coal and oil will one day run out, which is not good.
Also solar panels release no pollution . Furthermore it releases no greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases are one of the major causes of global warming.Another reason why nuclear is bad is because if an earthquake or tsunami hits a nuclear plant all around that area no one will be able to live there for ever.
Lastly solar panels make no noise unlike most of the over energy sources, for example wind mills make lots of noise and they waste a lot of space, they also look like eyesores on the nice farm land.
In conclusion that's why I think solar panels are best.
This term we learning about persuasive writing. Persuasive writing is when you are tying to convince that you are right. my one is about solar power and why its the best!
The flying fox !
“It’s so fun!”said Jerry enthusiastically as got unclipped from the flying fox wire , gave me the wet and dirty harness, it was raining. I pulled the straps Mum helped me.Then she told me “ Heath , now go and run up the hill.” When I reached the top of the slippery and muddy stairs I said “ Hi Wayne.’’ “Hello” he replied. He was my instructor for the giant swing so I knew his name. I jumped up some wooden stairs and Wayne clipped me on to the thick wire . “Now run off the platform” he told me. ZOOM! Now I was flying down to the bottom of the hill. I could see all around the camp like I was a bird in the sky looking for food . A while later I stopped and hopped off. It was my favorite activity today.( I said today because yesterday we did abseiling which was my favorite.)
