Roosevelt Library

Changing the world through academics and service, one step at a time!

Library Media Specialist: Elizabeth Blye Library Clerk: Barbara Ryan

One of our goals at Roosevelt is to help students become voracious life-long readers.

To support this goal, students have ample opportunities to visit the library and check out books, and we work hard to ensure that we have a diverse and up to date collection possible!

As the library media specialist and STREAM teacher, I will be talking about books and authors to inspire students to find books and authors they love! We will interact with authors as often as possible through letters, reviews, skype sessions, and an author visit during reading week in March.

I hope you will ask me for a recommendation or check out what Ms. Blye reads!

You will never find me without a book, but I usually have more than one!

Thank you for visiting our library page!

Please feel free to contact me at anytime with questions or ideas.

Our Library clerk, Mrs. Ryan, is available to assist students with circulation. Every class selected a time during the 6-day cycle to visit the library for circulation; however, students do not need to wait for their circulation time to come to the library. Students are always invited to check out books during their STREAM class, and can independently visit the library with permission from their teacher during the school day. You can view the STREAM/CIRCULATION schedule below.
