Education and/or Professional Experience: I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Psychology from Saint Cloud State University and a Masters of Arts in Teaching K-6 from Concordia University St. Paul. I have worked in the district in various long-term substitute positions including Reading Interventionist, 2nd grade, 3rd grade ELA, 8th grade ELA and as a 4K teacher. Prior to this I was a Lead Coach for the Hurricanes Swim Team for almost 10 years and coached ages 4-12. I am excited to inspire a love of learning in 4th grade this year!

Hobbies & Interest: I love to go on new adventures with my children, Macy and Calvin, including camping, swimming, hiking and exploring new places. I love to be on the water in the summer or skiing in the winter. My daughter and I compete in dance competitions in a parent/child group with The Dance Factory and I will be coaching the OHS Dance Team this fall! I also end up watching Prezley give Roblox hacks on You Tube with my kids. :)

Fun fact: My kids and I learned how to surf over spring break this past year in Florida!
