OSC will always prioritize a child's well-being over academics. We know that without a healthy body, a healthy mind, and a sense of belonging, optimal learning cannot take place. Whichever learning models are provided this school year, our students’ social-emotional health will be at the forefront of all we do. Throughout this pandemic, we have made a concerted, community-wide effort to attend to the emotional welfare of our students, staff and parents in order to facilitate an optimal and safe educational environment for all, and we will continue to do so through our OSC IBeWell initiative.

During any learning model, Child Safeguarding is of paramount importance, with specific Safeguarding Protocols for Working From Home during a DLP.

We have an experienced, highly capable Counseling Team in order to ensure that wellness remains our priority for students, parents and staff alike. New and returning families are welcome to get in touch with any of the Counselors to discuss questions, concerns, or excitements related to the start of the school year. Please continue to check the OSC Counselor Website for important information & updates.
