CREED: WATCH THE THRONE or DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

4-issue limited series

A voyage and return story around DAMIAN ANDERSON during his incarceration. Each chapter opens with a letter written to Adonis.

Young Damian enters the penitentiary, ready to fight for his place in the pecking order. His readiness to brawl is reluctantly tempered by DUCK, an older inmate who takes him under his wing. Duck through chess games teaches Dame the ropes to navigate prison using his head to plan and save his fist for when necessary, like the jail's underground fighting ring. Duck is a retired champ but helps the guards manage fights and betting.

Of course, Damian wants to step in the ring and Duck coaches him. He learns to analyze his opponents inside and outside the ring. Most importantly, he learns the rules and how to break them. Dame quickly rises to the top, too quickly for some guards losing money against him. Duck takes the fall for Dame's rise and is assassinated, but his protege learns his final lesson and fortifies his allegiances among convicts and guards.

Some guards set up a fight with RICKY CONLAN thinking a defeat in the ring will weaken Dame's standing, but he beats the former champ and brings him into his inner circle. Conlan gives him some blackmail on the warden that cinches Damien's reign. He can now finish his bid while focusing on his next goal — beating Adonis Creed.

End on Damian waiting alone outside the penitentiary at a bus stop.

COVERS CONCEPT: Each issue depicts Damian sitting in his fight corner like a king on a throne. The first is him looking hungry and intense, leaning forward at the reader. With each subsequent cover, he's more battered but gradually relaxing in the seat and confident in his station.

CREED: PARTHENOS

4-issue limited series

This is a hero's quest of AMARA CREED, trying to uphold her family legacy by competing in men's boxing.

Amara Creed is the best fighter her father's gyms ever produced, woman or man, but female boxing remains less popular. Amara holds the women's heavyweight championship and has won belts in lighter-weight divisions, but it's not enough.

FELIX CHAVEZ Amara's trainer always talks her out of her dream of winning her father's title. He believes she can do it; The problem is that no male boxer would ever fight her.

During a press briefing after her latest title victory, Amara signs something her translator is afraid to relay. She demands they translate — Amara challenges the heavyweight champ CRUSHER LANG to a title fight.

A media frenzy follows, with Felix trying to mitigate and Lang blowing her off, but Amara isn't backing down. He gives in and comes up with a plan. Lang has only ever lost to one fighter if he's willing to fight her in a public match that will prove it to the world and perhaps sway Lang.

OMARI DIXON left boxing for the UFC to get out of his grandfather's shadow. Felix sets up a meeting for him to watch Amara spar, and Dixon sees something in her he's never seen in a boxer — Amara's lack of hearing has heightened her other senses making her unmatched at reading other fighters in the ring.

He agrees to the fight, laughing that he will have to go all out or she'll beat the hell out of him.

Creed v Dixon becomes one of the most hyped matches in history with record-breaking attendance and viewership. Dixon inner monologues the whole fight. Amara and Omari go round after punishing rounds, with neither holding back. Then Dixon sees Amara getting in her zone, no distractions; he can't land a hit as if she can see his moves before he thinks of them. Dixon puts his all into a blinding fast right hook, but she evades it easily and lays him out with a punch he doesn't see.

The bell rings, and Dixon staggers to his feet to see the crowd going wild. Everyone has rushed to the ring, and Amara is being carried around. She's dropped in front of him and utters the first words in the series, "You fought me for real. Thank you."

Dixon raises Amara's arm co-signing her win and echoing her challenge to Lang. She's the real deal, and Crusher better be scared.

End on Lang watching the fight from his lavish home. He's on the phone with his manager and tells him to book the fight.

COVER CONCEPT: Each cover can be homages to vintage and classic fight promotion posters but with Amara featured.

CREED: THE RING

6-issue limited series

A futuristic OTT Street Fighter-like voyage and return story about Liza Creed, Adonis' descendant and last of the bloodline fighting a tournament to reclaim the family honor.

In 3033, and due to a breakthrough of fighters tapping into elemental energies within themselves, humanity has begun to colonize space. However, boxing, along with all violence, was banned on Earth, but fighting is still allowed along the asteroid belt, known as The Ring.

A yearly tournament is held among the four great yondai gyms. Each touts fighting styles based on an element; chi (Earth), sui (water), ka (fire), and fu (wind). However, a fighter appeared out of nowhere in the tournament and is poised to fight the four champions of the yondai.

Unknown to all, Liza Creed is the last remaining disciple of the Creed School of Shadowpaw. A gym founded by Saint Amara of the Inner Calm, some incidents buried the Creed name and boxing style centuries ago. Liza has been trained in isolation by their grandfather and promised to reestablish their gym after his death. They've won all bouts in the tournament and are poised to face the four champs of the yondai.

The champions are shaken but can't show it, continuing the tournament as they try to figure out who this fighter is.

As Liza faces and defeats each champion, more about the Shadowboxing style and Creed history is revealed, finally uncovering that the fire gym betrayed the Creed family and sullied their name, so they were erased from history. Looking to cover up this truth, the head of the fire gym decides to face Liza and destroy the Creed line once and for all.

Their battle is a crazy god-tier level match with the fire champ busting out every overpowered move in his arsenal to try and beat Liza. It almost looks like that will be the case, but Liza finds inner calm near the edge of defeat and overcomes the head of the fire gym with the true Shadowpaw style in a Neo-like trance.

Liza reinstates the Shadowpaw gym as the new grand champion and establishes the godai with The Ring.

COVER CONCEPTS: Inspired by fighting video game case art, crazy muscular fighter using flashy moves in almost contorted positions.
