Fatma James

Kia Ora, مرحبا , नमस्ते, 你好, ជំរាបសួរ, Hello!!

My name is Fatma James and I work in Wai Maori Habitat. I have been teaching for 12 years in New Zealand, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I love teaching-learning and working with Juniors, this has been my passion since I started teaching in my late teens! Although I have taught different Year levels including intermediate, I enjoy the interactions with younger learners. One of my area of interest is transitions to school, so I have made it my professional mission to ensure that transition to school for all children is smooth and holistic. I am also the Transition to School Leader and Liaison at Ormiston Primary. I am looking forward and am excited to work and learn collaboratively alongside you and your lovely tamaiti (child) this year.

Shirley Yang

Hi, my name is Shirley Yang and I am a new Learning Coach at OrmPS.

This year I officially started my teaching journey as I recently completed my Bachelor degree in Primary Education at the University of Auckland. I am from Guangzhou and I come from a family for four.

I am extremely excited about my new adventure at OrmPS. I know this journey will prolong my knowledge and understanding of effective teaching that best support and scaffold learners curiosity, through the collaborative environment I am lucky to be in.
