Welcome to Moutere

Anna Sizer

Bonjour! This is my first year teaching at Ormiston Primary School and I am excited to work alongside some awesome learning coaches and learners in our habitat. I have been teaching for the last 8 years in South Auckland and have learnt a lot from all leaners I have come across. I spent a year in South Korea teaching English and came away with a one in a life time experience!

I was born on the beautiful tropical island of Mauritius found in the Indian Ocean. I speak Creole and French and love learning new languages. I love to spend time with my family and friends, cooking and eating different foods and travelling.

Fakalofa lahi atu. This is my third year teaching at Ormiston Primary. Prior, I taught at a school in East Auckland for 11 years. I am really excited to be working alongside my colleagues this year. I have learned lots of new ideas at OrmPS. Some learners have been teaching me to say small phrases in different languages including NZSL. I love to teach learners new things but in particular Sports and Physical Education skills.

My family and I are from the beautiful island of Niue in the South Pacific. I was born and raised in South Auckland. I am the mother of one amazing and very talented son. I spent two years learning the Niuean language and am still learning to speak it fluently. In my spare time, I like to read, listen to music and watch my son play rugby league. I also go to the gym and like to eat lots of different foods. I also attend Life Church in Manukau.

In translation- my mum and dad are Jason and Kelly. I am one of four siblings and from oldest to youngest we are Kellon, Brittney, Larenz and Hughstyn.

Kia Ora! I am excited to be kicking off my teaching career at Ormiston Primary School!

I graduated my Bachelors of Teaching in Primary Education at Auckland University of Technology in 2018. Prior to graduating, I undertook a placement here at OrmPS. I was moved with the way OrmPS delivered education to the learners. It best suited my philosophy of building and catering to our young future leaders!
