Greetings! I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Policy and the Sociology Program at Oregon State.
I am an environmental and natural resource sociologist focused on the social dimensions of energy systems and the global energy transition. I study community impacts of resource extraction as well as public perceptions of renewable energy, climate change policy, fossil fuel extraction, and fossil fuel transport and export. I am interested in the cultural aspects of environmental attitude formation, particularly within communities on the forefront of energy production and transition.
