Welcome! This site is here to inform you about Precision Temperature Automation's undergraduate research project at Oregon State University.
In the industrial world, there are many processes and designs that require certain temperatures to allow for proper production. Our client, Dr. Heer, tasked us with creating a temperature controller that will be able to run an automated greenhouse through keeping root media at a specific temperature. The key features of our design that will set itself out from the rest will be it's usability, ability to be monitored and controlled from wireless devices, precision in temperature control, and purchase value.
This project was commissioned by Dr. Heer, a professor for the OSU's School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The end goal of this project is to create a temperature controller that can be easily deployed in Dr. Heer's tree farm and meets all of his specifications.
Our site will bring all the current information of our project. From the side bar you can access on the left, there will be options to access our timeline, blocks, and system requirements.
