Drowsiness Confirming Steering Wheel
Group 10 - CS 461/ECE441
Welcome to the website for the Oregon State University capstone drowsiness confirming steering wheel team. The team consists of five university students who worked on a project proposed by Mike Van Schoiack. The purpose of this project was to design a system that can be implemented into existing vehicles steering wheels to lower the number of motor vehicle accidents caused by drowsy or inebriated drivers. The project's intended outcome was a working prototype of a device that can be put on or in an existing steering wheel and administer tasks to the driver to test their alertness.
