The 2026 Oregon Bioengineering Symposium will bring together students, researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders from across Oregon and the surrounding region to explore innovations in biomedical engineering with a focus on advancing health equity. This year’s theme emphasizes the role of bioengineering in creating inclusive solutions that improve access, outcomes, and precision in healthcare for all populations.
Symposium highlights include:
Sharing innovative research in biomedical engineering and allied areas
Fostering collaboration across disciplines and sectors
Bringing diverse professionals together in the common theme of science and engineering serving society
Assisting participants in planning their academic and industrial careers
Join us for a day of knowledge-sharing, innovation, and partnership as we work toward a future where bioengineering advances benefit everyone.
Registration fees:
$15 for undergraduate students
$25 for graduate students and post-docs
$100 for faculty
$150 for non-academic registrants.
Final date for conference registration is May 1.
Submit an abstract to present a lightning talk and/or poster. Abstract submission for lightning talk consideration closes on Feb. 27, 2026. Consideration for poster presentations will continue until April 3.
