Hey parents and kids, we are administering state testing after spring break. If you will be taking these tests, please take some time at home to get familiar with the testing interface. There are embedded tools that you will need to know about, such as highlighting, calculator, strike through, etc.
Classroom News: February 11-13, 2020
- Happy Valentine's Day Week! I am grateful for you and your kiddos. Thank you for sharing them with me.
- We will celebrate this week, in the afternoon, with a craft and snack. Valentine's will be exchanged, so bring a little something for each of your classmates. We have 15 students on Tuesday and 14 students on Wednesday. A class list was emailed earlier this week.
- Conferences are next week! Please see the email I sent last week, and sign up for an email/phone/zoom/or in person chat!
- Sled Dog Steam continues with human powered sled dog races and Alaskan History and Geography lesson.
Dog Sled Field Trip
We have completely booked our sled dog field trip at Mt. Bachelor on February 18th! We are FULL with a waiting list. Remember to contact Noah by February 14 to figure out the finances. Email him here: email@example.comThe cost is $34 a person. You may use OFS allotment funds for your OFS student. Parents and siblings (non OFS) are self pay.
Unfortunately, this is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, please let me know asap and I will fill your spot. We do have a WAITING LIST!

I have booked your time slots. Click here. Three sleds leave at 10, 11, 12 and 1 pm. 3 people in a sled. The ride takes about 1 hour, but you will want to be up there 30 min. prior, and stay after 15 min. to love on your hard working canine companions. Plan on 2 hours. Make sure you GO TO THE BATHROOM BEFORE coming to the sled dog ride area. Wear winter snow clothes. Goggles or glasses are a must!
