Lecture and Activity
We will go through the slide presentation over the course of a few days. Assignments will be generated through the week.
Privacy has always been an important part of the human experience. How much coverage of and access to people should be allowed? Think of you and your friends. Do you have the same right to privacy as a celebrity, athlete, or the president? Cameras are everywhere! At what point is a camera or video camera not a good idea? Give your opinion backed by evidence in a google doc. Turn in to Google Classroom.
Go out and photograph on campus, in your neighborhood, or around town. If you have the ability to go to a new spot, try it out. The goal is to get out of your comfort zone, and photograph things that you don't normally do. People on the street is the subject matter you are trying to capture. Remember to respect the privacy of others, ask permission if you feel it is necessary if someone does not vibe with this, move on to another scene. There is a risk and reward with this type of work.
