AP U.S. Government and Politics (Grade 11-12) 1 Credit
Prerequisite:Honors American Century or AP US
This course will follow the A.P. syllabus, and the A.P. test will be required of all students. It is designed to give students a critical perspective on politics and government in the United States. This course involves both the study of general concepts used to interpret American politics and the analysis of specific case studies. It also requires familiarity with the various institutions, groups, beliefs, and ideas, which make up the American political reality. AP US History is highly recommended as a prerequisite.
