Media Center Volunteers Needed!

We, the ALS Bulldogs, invite you to be a part of the ALS school experience by volunteering at the Media Center. You set your own hours and days. You may volunteer as often as your schedule permits.

Volunteers help with the following activities:

• Working with students
• Supervising material check in and check out
• Shelving books
• Assisting with online catalog usage
• Performing clerical support such as: laminating, book repair, labeling, etc.
• Helping students locate books and research materials
• Recording and tracking overdue materials
• Weeding old materials
• The end-of-year inventory
• Maintaining bulletin boards and displays

We will also be having our Scholastic Book Fair in December. I will be in great need of volunteers to assist with set-up and take down of the fair as well as running the day to day operations of the Book Fair.
