We have begun taking yearbook orders and we will have a Yearbook class staffed by Ms. Rohlfs and with students who will collaboratively produce our 2021 yearbook. The link for families to order a 2020-2021 yearbook is already live - Link to order a 2020-21 OPHS Yearbook

  • Textbooks & Chromebooks Distribution Information - OPUSD Chromebook Program Information. More information coming this week but please review the textbook drive-through schedule below. Be sure to read the textbook contract in Student & Parent Handbook. You are accepting these responsibilities when you digitally sign the Student Handbook Acknowledgement acknowledgement in Parent Connect

  • Class of 2021 Information - There are some more pieces of information we will need from our seniors related to graduation and we will send separate notices to the Class of 2021 and their families. Seniors acknowledge the Senior Contract when they digitally sign the Student Handbook Acknowledgement in Parent Connect.

  • New Student Orientation - This year, 9th grade counselor Janet Svoboda and our staff and students are making a video to welcome our freshman and other new students. This will be sent to new OPHS families on August 6th.

  • Schedule Changes - We have made a Google Form to collect Student Schedule Change Requests. The link will become active based on the grade level textbook day schedule.

  • Athletics Update - The CIF has revised the sports calendar condensing Fall, Winter and Spring sports into two seasons and postponing practices and games until December. Please see their announcement and sports calendars at the link below:https://cifss.org/news/july-20-2020-update-and-2020-21-sports-calendars/--

    1. The fall will now be under summer rules so we will try and continue with our summer conditioning program if/when restrictions allow us to get back to phase one. If you enrolled in summer conditioning and would like to continue with the program you do not need to do anything. We have not cashed checks yet for sports that were unable to begin.

    2. If you do not want to continue with the summer conditioning program and would like a refund please email dgoodnough@opusd.org. If your sport did not start we will shred your check and if your sport started we will give you a prorated refund.

    3. Our sport athletic classes will still run but may be mixed with general PE for distance learning. These include boys basketball, football, girls volleyball and baseball. Cross country will utilize running logs and google meets to earn credit. Other fall sport athletes will not receive PE credit until the Spring with the new sports calendar.
