Students may request no more than 10 credits (5 credits by semester) in a course they have received a D or F only. There is limited availability; priority will be given to students needing math, English, science, World Language and/or history to meet a graduation requirement. A confirmation email will be sent out later in April to confirm course registration.
This is a HYBRID program, meaning students will be required to attend mandatory on-campus class sessions three mornings a week (Tue-Thu); Mondays and Fridays students will work remotely off campus. Failure to show up to mandatory on-campus class sessions during the scheduled times can result in being dropped from the program. If you have a planned vacation or other personal priorities that will conflict with the mandatory on-campus dates, then it is best to work with your counselor to explore outside online-only school programs to suit your needs. This program is intentionally designed to provide more structured in-person support with the online independent coursework. Final exams must be taken on campus in order to be issued a final grade and credit--no exceptions.
If the OPHS summer remediation program mandatory attendance dates and times don't work for you, please refer to the Outside Remediation Information and work with your counselor to confirm approval of outside program.
