Hi my name is Emily, and I am a junior at OPRF. I am an Executive Member of Business Club: one of the leaders of the Investment Sector and one of the Social Media Managers. In addition to Business Club, I am a member of Robotics Club, where I am my team’s Captain. I am also a member of Chinese Club, where I am a Class Representative and Co-Treasurer. Outside of OPRF, I am a mentor at Percy Julian Middle School’s VEX Robotics Club, I am a mentor at Concordia University’s coding mentoring program, and I work as an instructor at Mathnasium.

I am passionate about business, finance, and STEM, particularly computer science. My plan is to study all of those things in college and apply them in a career. I also plan to travel as much as I can in the future in order to have as many unique experiences as I can. As of right now, I have two favorite books: Tim Ferriss’ The 4-Hour Work Week and George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four.

I am excited to be an Executive Member of Business Club this year. As a leader, it is my goal to learn about investing with other members of the club through discussions, collaboration, and hands-on experience. I can not wait to see how this year turns out!
