OPHS PFA is an all-volunteer, non-profit, that works to enhance the education and welfare of all OPHS students. Our mission is not only to raise funds, but also to foster a sense of community at Oak Park High School.
We sincerely hope this message finds you and your families safe and healthy.
Even though this school year is starting as never before, the PFA is as committed as ever to maintaining its financial support of the students, teachers and administrators of OPHS.
While studying through distance learning, students continue to benefit from the many PFA funded programs. The PFA is paying for Math and American Sign Language software that helps teachers provide high quality virtual lessons. Students carry on planning their college futures through Naviance, expand their vocabulary using Membean, and benefit from the professional development attended by our teachers and counselors. Ongoing PFA support of the Journalism program means that student articles will be published in the online Talon. Senior students will still be able to apply for PFA scholarships.
Furthermore, when the time comes that students can safely return to campus, the PFA will be there to support them. The PFA provides funding for the Qminder system that allows students to make counselor appointments right from their phone. We purchase school supplies, promote student wellbeing by funding the Safe School Ambassadors program, and support clubs and teams such as robotics, academic decathlon, debate and mock trial.
The PFA supports our school and your students, both on and off campus, but to sustain this support, we rely on your donations. We hope you will continue your support of our efforts in the coming year.

Future Freshman Night
The Parent Faculty Association is an all-volunteer charitable organization dedicated to supporting the students and staff of OPHS through fundraising, volunteering, and communication.
It truly is an amazing organization. We have about 30 volunteer PFA Officers and Committee Chairs who work diligently to help make our school a better place for our students. From Registration at the beginning of the school year, to Grad Night at the end, PFA is an integral part of the school, helping to support students, teachers, and parents.
