GOOGLE CLASSROOM: TAKE/UPLOAD A PICTURE AND ATTACH TO A GOOGLE DOC

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW TO UPLOAD A PICTURE FROM YOUR MOBILE DEVICE TO A GOOGLE DOCUMENT

OPTION 1: Using a Mobile Device

OPTION 2: Using a Chromebook or Desktop Computer

OPTION 1: USING A MOBILE DEVICE


NOTE: You will need the Google DOCS app downloaded on your mobile device

The Google DOCS App is available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store

1. Click on the Google Docs app on your mobile device

2. Select and Open the Google DOC you want to use to upload your assignment

3. Once in the Google Doc mode, click the pencil at the bottom of the page to enter EDIT mode.


4. Once in edit mode, click the + sign in the top right corner to access the INSERT MENU

5. Once you select photo or take one with your camera, your picture will upload


6. Select IMAGE

Choose to take image from your photos OR to take a picture with your camera

7. Your image will now insert into your Google Document

You can now complete your task or return to Google Classroom and select TURN IN to submit your completed assignment

OPTION 2: USING A CHROMEBOOK OR DESKTOP COMPUTER


NOTE: You will need to send the image to your computer or upload it to your Google Drive to access it on your computer.

1. Open the assignment on your computer

2. Open the Google Doc your teacher attached the assignment

3. Inside the Google Document, click INSERT then IMAGE then choose to UPLOAD from your computer or CAMERA if your laptop offers a camera option.

You can now complete your assignment or if finished, return to Google Classroom and click TURN IN to submit your file to your teacher.
