My number one behavior expectation in my classroom is that everyone is treated with respect, kindness and dignity. I will endeavor to treat all those who enter my room this way and I expect all of my students to do the same.
I have listed my daily classwork, homework, and late work policies below. These are across all of the courses that I teach.
Daily Classwork:
Classwork is expected to be turned in on-time and complete. Students will be informed of all due dates and will be reminded regularly of upcoming deadlines. Students and parents can access assignments and due dates on Google Classroom. Students are responsible for obtaining assignments for any missed classes and making arrangements for learning missed material.
Homework:
Please review the Middle School Handbook, which is available online. Homework is designed to reinforce what is being learned in the classroom. It is not optional and should be completed by the assigned due date.
Late Work:
I will be following the Middle School Handbook Policy regarding late work. “Schoolwork is due on time. After the initial due date, late work will be accepted at 70% of the earned grade. If the teacher chooses to accept late work with a reduced grade, the work will be no more than one week late. Beyond one week, late work will not be accepted.”
If you have an issue turning an assignment in on time, please communicate with your teacher, so we can make a plan.
