Understanding the ministry landscape in Eastern Africa

Are we intentionally investing in their spiritual lives?
Are there any gaps we need to fill?
Welcome to the Eastern Africa Asset Map Report. You're here because you care in ensuring that "the little children come to Jesus" and we applaud you for that. This research initiative gathers data about how churches and parachurch organisations in six countries across Eastern Africa are reaching the children and youth of their nation with the Gospel message. It sheds light on successes, gaps & opportunities to reach even more young people. Our goal is to share actionable insights with you and equip you to make an even bigger impact for Christ. Go ahead. Dig in and uncover a wealth of information that will help to make your ministry even more effective.
Situated on the eastern part of the African Continent, Eastern Africa comprises of 10 countries; Burundi, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia & South Sudan. Well-endowed by magnificent physical features, the region boasts of the two highest mountains in Africa; Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya and the famous Lake Victoria which is the source of the longest river in Africa, River Nile.
We currently have ongoing active ministry in 7 of the countries, that is, Burundi, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, South Sudan and Kenya. The last 4 countries are largely dominated by Islam and civil war, hence it has been a challenge to access but we are praying and believing for open doors into these countries. We reach over 11 million children annually with the word of God and this is done through a fruitful collaboration with churches and parachurch organizations.
It is our prayer and goal that by the year 2030, every young heart in Eastern Africa, will have engaged with the word of God and experienced the overwhelming love of Jesus Christ.
