Mrs. Eckler

Hello! I am one of the seventh grade homeroom teachers. I teach on-level math for sixth, seventh, and eighth grades and advanced eighth grade math. This is my seventh year at Our Lady of Victory and my eighteenth year teaching.

I grew up in Advance, Missouri and graduated high school in Plano, Texas. Many of my family members still live in Missouri. My parents, sister and her family live in the Detroit area. I live with my husband and our black lab, Scarlett, in South Lyon.

I have a BS in Multidisciplinary Studies (elementary education) with minors in Mathematics and Special Education from Texas Tech University. I received a Master’s degree as a Reading Specialist from Maryville University of Saint Louis. Before moving to Michigan and teaching at OLV, I taught elementary education, middle school, and high school mathematics in Missouri. In Michigan I am certified to teach sixth through twelfth grades mathematics, grades K-5 elementary, and be a reading specialist.

When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with Scarlett and my family, and reading. I have recently started golfing and am excited when I am able to hit the ball straight and off of the ground.

I can be reached at or (248) 349-3610 at extension #1304.
