The beginning of the 2024 school year has been very busy for our Advanced Handbell Ensemble. In September, we were fortunate to be invited to perform at the Mass of Welcome for Coadjutor Bishop Joseph Williams. In October, we went on a road trip to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. We were honored to perform in a concert of sacred music that was part of the Diocesan Marian Pilgrimage.
At OLMC, we are very fortunate to have several performance ensembles for students. Our goal is to provide young musicians with positive experiences that foster a love for music.
Recorder Ensemble- 3rd grade
Beginning Band- Any first year player that is in 4th grade or higher.
Advanced Band- Any student with more than 6 months experience.
Beginning Handbell Choir- 5th grade
Intermediate Handbell Choir- 6th grade
Advanced Handbell Choir- 7th and 8th grade
Chorus- 3rd through 8th grade
