LATE WORK POLICY: It is the student’s responsibility to find out what he/she has missed when absent. GOOGLE classroom will have everything linked there; so work really should NOT be late unless there are extenuating circumstances(very ill, death in family...etc.)
IF you miss any assignment, a ZERO will be placed in the gradebook so you will know what happens to your grade if you fail to make up this work.
- All work is expected to be turned in on time…if the work is a day late, the student will lose 20% of the credit possible, further credit will be lost with further delay. No late work will be accepted once the test for a unit is taken.
I will ONLY accept late work for full credit if it is part of a student's 504 or IEP for extra time as an accommodation and only in the time allowed.
I realize that sometimes life gets in the way of work, but IF an extenuating circumstance arises, I would expect a student to communicate in a personal email the circumstances and then appropriate credit could be earned.
