Message from our desk

Dear Parents,

As we all know showing gratitude is important for us and for our children. We often encourage our children to say thank you to others frequently. We all know that good manners are important and showing others that we appreciate makes them feel happy. Studies show that gratitude for kids can be very powerful tool with lots of physical and mental benefits such as higher level of happiness, less aggression, less stress etc. So how can we teach them to be grateful. Few activities to practice gratitude can start with reflecting on one thing they are grateful for. Encourage them to help others. Thanking people for the small things they do for us. Look for ways to show act of kindness. A little step of sharing their toys should be noticed and appreciated. Young kids imitate their elders so let's give them something great to imitate.
