Paul Arnold - Pastor

M.Div, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, 1998

Pastor Paul has served as a Senior Pastor since 1998, leaving his previous church after 14 years and coming to Olive Chapel in 2012. Pastor Paul and his wife, Denise, have two young adult children .

Since his arrival, Pastor Paul has challenged the church in three key areas:

1) to read, study and obey the Bible (II Timothy 3:16)

2) to make disciples by obedience to the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:16-20

3) to maintain church unity and witness by loving one another (John 13:34-35)

These three priorities are bound together by the Great Commandment for believers to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength and to love their neighbors as themselves. (Mark 12:30-31)

Pastor Paul enjoys time with his family, especially their annual beach trips. He also enjoys attending occasional sporting events and the theatre. He loves spending time reading and studying different translations of the Scriptures, travel for mission work and serving the local church.
