December 8-12, 2025
We had a CRAZY fun filled week of school! Last week our classroom Elf joined us. We named him Sunny! He has been hiding and tricking us everyday. I am sure he is giving all good reports to Santa.
During our week :
We learned about the letter Cc. We listened to the sound, practiced strokes, read stories and added words to our Word Wall.
We made a C craft for our Alphabet Books.
We painted a candy cane.
We painted a Grinch Santa! All the Christmas crafts will go home next week. I love seeing them in our hallway and classroom!
We made a special craft and card for our wonderful families. This will go home next Thursday.
We continued Stories of God's Love. Our lesson was titled Jesus is Born. We completed the leaflet and discussed the true meaning of Christmas.
Thank you for coming to Our Little Angels Show. We did such a great job!
We had so much fun shopping for our loved ones at The Santa Shoppe!
We practiced writing our names. Many children are holding their marker and crayons with the incorrect grip. If you see this at home please encourage them to hold it the correct way.

Next week we will continue with our Christmas theme.
We will review letters and numbers discussed so far.
We will continue Our Religion Curriculum Stories of God's Love. Each week we will read a story and complete a lesson that relates to the story.
WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 17= $1 Dress Down Day, Christmas party, we will have a special visitor! You may send in individually wrapped treats if you would like. We will have a small party, make a craft, dance and read stories.
THURSDAY DECEMBER 18 = Festival of Carols The Symbols of Christmas at 1:00 in the gym. ALL classes will perform Christmas songs with their Prayer Buddies for ALL PARENTS . Children may wear festive pajamas and sneakers. No pm CARES.
FRIDAY DECEMBER 19 = School is CLOSED per Mrs. Riley's email. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
JANUARY 5= Classes resume.
A FEW REMINDERS :
PLEASE look at my Important Dates and Events page. It has important information about the upcoming weeks.
Please send a small water bottle and morning snack everyday. Please make sure your child's snack is in a separate area in their school bag and not in their lunchbox.
Please send in a napkin and a fork or spoon for lunch if needed.
Please email me every MONDAY morning if your child is attending CARES and what days they are attending.
