Enid Public Library Opens New Expanded Space for STEAM and Creative Projects
October 24, 2025
The Enid Public Library is excited to announce expansion and relocation of its expanded Bert Clampitt STEAM Lab and Creative Studio. To celebrate, the library invites the community to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on Saturday, November 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
During the event, library staff will provide guided tours of the lab every 15 minutes, highlighting the new tools, technology, and creative opportunities available. Attendees can explore resources such as a 3D printer, embroidery and sewing machines, a Cricut machine for custom designs, button pin makers, and digital design and video editing. Podcasting equipment, a VHS and DVD digital converter, and cassette and vinyl converters are also available.
For those unable to attend in person, a short livestream of the event will be available on the library’s Facebook and Instagram pages, showcasing the space and its offerings.
The expanded STEAM Lab and Creative Studio is open for public use on Mondays from 3 to 4:45 p.m., on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 3 to 4:45 p.m., and by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The new space supports a wide range of creative projects, from 3D printing and textile work to digital media and personalized keepsakes. The space will continue to host popular craft programs alongside the STEAM Lab activities.
