2023 State Convention & Elections
Young Democrats of Oklahoma (YDO) is hosting its 2023 Reorganization Convention June 3rd at 1:30PM at the Tulsa Cox Convention Center, 100 Civic Center, Tulsa, OK 74103. Registration is $10 for convention.
A virtual option will be available for Young Democrats that cannot attend in person. The $10 Registration Fee will still apply to virtual participants.
The YDO Convention is the time YDO will elect its 2023-2025 Executive Board and Caucus Chairs. We will also have former Young Democrats of America (YDA) Executive Vice President and current Kentucky Democrats Chair, Colmon Elridge as our guest speaker. Chairman is going to share with us about young people being change agents in a red state.
Young Democrats are people ages 14-17 that identify with the ideals of the Democratic Party, Oklahoma registered Democrats ages 18-40, and Oklahomans that identify with Democratic ideals despite citizenship status up to age 40.

Young Democrats of Oklahoma presents Carl Albert After Dark: Sneaker Ball on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 9PM to 1AM at Aloft Hotel, 200 Civic Center, Tulsa, OK.
Carl Albert After Dark hosted by Young Democrats of Oklahoma (YDO) is a biennial event to fundraise for the Young Democrats of Oklahoma.
The funds raised will help ensure the Young Democrats of Oklahoma can have the necessary funds to have a full delegation at the Young Democrats of America convention, programming to support the YDO platform, and to help elect Democrats across the State of Oklahoma.
Young Democrats of Oklahoma has a goal to raise $15,000 as we prepare to attend Young Democrats of America convention in Las Vegas, NV June 18-21, 2023. These funds will go towards the rooms and registration for the delegation. If we are able to surpass our fundraising goal, the Young Democrats of Oklahoma will also offset the cost of travel for the delegates.
