Encouraging innovation by finding solutions to help students learn in a safe environment.
Protecting our students’ and staff's privacy is an important priority, and Oklahoma City Public Schools is committed to maintaining strong privacy and security protections. The privacy and security of this information is a significant responsibility, and we value the trust of our students, parents, and staff.
To accomplish the district’s mission and to comply with the law, the district may need to collect, create, and store confidential information, including information regarding students, parents/guardians, employees, applicants for employment, and others. The district will only do so when necessary and will take measures to keep this information confidential.

Digital Resources
Oklahoma City Public Schools believes in the transparent use of data. Our Approved Applications page was established to share information with our staff, parents, students, and community regarding the use of student data and our commitment to data privacy. It includes a list of digital resources that have been evaluated by the district. We feel it is important you not only know which resources have been approved but also see which resources are being reviewed/evaluated.
NEW for 25-26: The OKCPS Digital Learning Directory lists the specific programs currently used, sortable by site.
Google Apps for Education
We are proud to be a Google Apps for Education district. This resource allows students the opportunity for online collaboration, as well as access to their documents from anywhere they have internet access. We understand that you may have questions regarding data privacy and encourage you to visit the Google Apps for Education FAQ site for more information.
Student Online Safety
Student safety is a priority and is integrated into the district's digital citizenship curriculum. Our online safety program is derived from the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) and recommended guidelines established by Common Sense Media.
In alignment with our goal to increase technology use among students, we have provided links to help parents and students grow more comfortable with technology and the etiquette needed for the digital age on our Family Resources page!
