Quiet moments

"As a parent, I like that I also get to be his teacher and like to help explain things to him until he understands. The teacher is super helpful and always willing to help and answer questions my son or I have. What Axel likes the most about online learning is having quiet moments while learning lessons so he can focus on assignments."

We love our teacher!

"It's my son's first year of doing e3, and I was very nervous about it but now we really like it. It's very flexible and my son enjoys it. The teacher is super nice and helpful. She always makes sure to let me know how my son is doing and if he needs to do anything else or is missing any assignments. I'm so thankful to his teacher."

She gives 110%

"Isabella's teacher makes sure she is doing her best, giving just enough gentle nudges to move her forward in a way that is comfortable for her. She can be extremely shy at times and I love that her teacher understands that and let's her answer when she's comfortable. She has opened up a lot in that area thanks to her teacher. "

Work at your own pace

"My advice for handling online school is to go with the flow, be patient, and just work at your own pace. The weekly schedule and the pace of online learning actually helps me a lot. I can focus much easier and the work isn't too hard. My teachers are all amazing!"

Emma - 9th Grader

Stay on top of it

"What I like the most is the flexibility. I can start my work at 7:00 am or 3:00 pm. My advice for handling online school is to stay on top of it, and don't fall behind. Edgenuity is easier to use and makes it less difficult to stay on top of your work. My teachers are very nice and very helpful..

Aurelio - 9th Grader

Be responsible

"What I like the most about Online Learning is that i have time to do my homework. My best advice for handling online school is to always be responsible. I also stay connected with my assigned home school and attend extracurricular activities."

OKCPS makes virtual learning option permanent

"By being virtual, it gives the student and the family a tremendous flexibility that they can't get in a traditional setting," said Kenny Ward, former OKCPS director of online learning.

Thousands of Oklahoma kids stay in virtual school

“You just get on the computer, and you get right to it,” Cayden said. “It was the difference between three hours of working every day and seven hours working every day.”

Learn at home but keep ties to your OKCPS home school

"Our e3 kids are  scoring the highest. This is a world-class curriculum,” e3 teacher Sadoka Chandler said. “It has rigor, it has hands-on activities. It has arts and sciences.”
