Our holistic farming philosophy revolves around every element of our farm working together. This means that the animals on our farm help to fertilize the ground, turn up the soil, and create biodiversity. This is turn improves soil health and plant health. The plants and animals then go on to feed our family and our customers. Our system of regenerative agriculture results in products that are good for us and that we can feel good about. Here at Bell's we strive to farm in an ethical and sustainable way. Though not certified organic, we don't use synthetic chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides on our produce.
Stop to check out their Honest Stand for awesome produce, honey, and whats in season. Also, view their lovely animals!

Our Story
Eckholm Farm is an historic, small-scale farm within Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve. We offer agricultural commodities and value-added farm products as well as on-farm experiences for visitors.
Located on beautiful Whidbey Island, in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains of Washington State, we produce berries, apples, pears, plums, and hay; raise a few chickens, pigs, and highland cattle, and manage lots of honey bees.
History
The history of our farm began with the Donation Land Claim Act of 1850, a federal statute to promote homesteading in the Pacific Northwest. Originally part of the Isaac Power claim of 640 acres, our farm acreage was purchased from the Power family by Daniel Earlywine in the early 1900’s. Dan built the homestead cabin as well as several barns still present on the farm today.

The farm was once the largest grower of Loganberries and the cafe features Loganberry pies as well as others kinds of pie. The farm is also a great place for birdwatching with harriers, eagles, red tailed hawks, yellowthroats, marsh wrens, red winged blackbirds, swallows, herons, waterfowl and more!
