Fred Rayhle was an Oak Hills graduate of the class of 1972, and played Varsity Football, Basketball, and Track during his time at Oak Hills. Rayhle was a 3 year Varsity Football and Basketball letterman, and a 2 year Varsity letterman Track athlete. Rayhle was a key component of the 1971 City Championship Basketball Team, and participated in the East-West All-Star Game for Basketball. Rayhle attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga after his time at Oak Hills on a Football Scholarship, where he was selected to the All-Time University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Football Team over the first 50 years of the sport, and after college he went on to play in the National Football League with the Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks.
