This month we are reading "Nim's Island" by Wendy Orr.


This month we are reading Biographies from the Who Was book series. Read as many as you would like. We are starting with "Who Is Neil Armstrong?". Enjoy!!

For the month of November, we are reading books from the "Geronimo Stilton" series. Please read as many as you can and be ready to discuss your favorite at our next meeting.


Welcome to Book Club! For our first month, we will be reading books from the Judy Moody and Stink series by Meagan MacDonald. Read as many in the series as you'd like and come to our next meeting ready to share your favorite. Enjoy!

We are finishing up reading "Beezus and Ramona". Our last meeting will be Wednesday, May 8th. Hope to see you there!

We are reading "Beezus and Ramona" by Beverly Cleary. We will focus on just the first half of the book this month.

This month we are reading biographies. A biography is an account of someone's life. Please choose more than one. We have biographies on political figures, actors, musicians, athletes, and more. Try to read a variety. You may even want to try reading about someone you've never heard of before. Come to our next meeting ready to tell us something you've learned about someone you read about.

For the month of January, we are reading Nonfiction Science books (from the 500's). Try to read a variety of books ranging from math to weather, animals to rocks, and more. Be ready to discuss some of your favorites. Did you learn something new? We can't wait to hear!

This month we are reading "The One and Only Ivan" .

The Caldecott Medal was named in honor of nineteenth-century English illustrator Randolph Caldecott. It is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.

This month, we are reading past Caldecott Medal winning books. Read as many as you can. Share your favorite and be ready to discuss why you think it was deserving of the award.

For the month of October, we are reading GRAPHIC NOVELS. Please read as many (and varying styles) as you can this month. Let us know what's your favorite and start thinking about how you would create a panel . We will be making our own at our next meeting. Enjoy!!!

3rd and 4th grade book club will meet on the second Wednesday of each month. Our first meeting will be on Wednesday Oct. 10 in the Elementary Library. We will meet immediately after school and end at 3:45.
