The VET4SDG program supports VET institutions in their efforts to be more sustainable by providing information and tools for setting sustainability goals as well as for measuring progress in achieving them. During the program, these tools are into practice. The participants carry out surveys, gather good practices, analyze the collected information and share it with others.
Introduction to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and how they relate to vocational education and training – on a system level and in practice. (Online workshop)
Participants carry out surveys to find out different stakeholders' views (students, teachers, management, private sector partners) on where the VET institution is in achieving the SDGs. (Independent or group work)
Participants use the SDG Canvas to compile and analyze the survey results and share them with others. (Independent work + online workshop)
Participants gather good practices related to SDGs in their VET institution and share them with others. (Independent work + online workshop)
The participants prepare a SDG Vision Map for the future: Which SDGs are the focus, what measures need to be taken, and how is the plan put into practice? The visions are shared in an online workshop. (Independent work + online workshop)
