Parents work together to form Curriculum Enhancement Teams that prepare FUN academic events to celebrate the completion of major units of study. These activities reinforce and bring to life the Core Knowledge concepts that the students have just mastered. We have 3 CETs planned for this year: The Human Body, Ancient Egypt, and Mexico. If you would like to participate in our CET activities, or if you are interested in donating supplies, please contact our room parent or the CET coordinator:
Parents plan and coordinate activities for our classroom celebrations. We have 3 class parties scheduled for this year: Halloween, Christmas, and End of Year. We also have holiday activities planned during our class time for: Thanksgiving, Valentines Day, and Hundred Day. If you would like to help with our CLASS PARTIES, or if you are interested in donating supplies, please contact our room parent.
Volunteers are needed each week to help out in the library. Volunteers help our students find and check out books during our scheduled library time. Volunteers are also needed throughout the week to help package books for our home reading program. If you would like to help in the Library, please contact Ms. Beckstrand, our school librarian.
There are plenty of opportunities to help beyond our classroom. Our school needs parent volunteers to help with carnivals, book fairs, teacher appreciation events, and much more. If you would like to find ways to help out in our school, please contact our Parent Volunteer Coordinator through the front office.
