The Center for Workforce Development Research and Practice conducts research to support workforce development policy and practice. The Center also provides technical assistance to colleges and employers, including support for apprenticeships, local needs assessments, program development, and high-quality professional development for workforce professionals across business, higher education, and public sectors.
The center aims to strengthen workforce development systems that help businesses fill their talent pipeline, foster economic development, narrow the skills gap, and promote economic and social mobility for workers.
