Most positive key to a child's success is active participation of parents in the learning journey. Silver Oaks has diligently planned the meets between teachers and parents to ensure transparency and shared responsibility.
Tips for effective interactions:
Use the word 'concern' and avoid the word 'complaint'.
Discussions are welcome. No arguments.
Note down the concerns you have at home and refer to them during interactions with the teacher.
Use facts and not notions to speak about the progress of the child.
Your concerns need not be expressed as a group concern.
Group chats or social media posts do not help your child. Only you, teachers and school can.
Avoid group chats and comments. Do not get influenced by posts from others. Let them sort their problems with the school.
Respect the teacher and school at all times. Your child will learn from you.
Please dress formally when you come to any of these events.
It is essential for both parents to attend these events.
While attending these events, avoid phone calls and chats. Otherwise, your child may feel that you don't give importance to his/her schooling.
