Oneonta High School Redskin Band
Founded in 1941, the 2023-2024 school year marks the 83rd edition of the Redskin Band. We are proud to be the largest student organization at Oneonta City Schools.

James McDonald, Director of Bands
James McDonald is in his third year of service at Oneonta City Schools, first as the head director of bands, and fourteenth year of teaching overall.
He lives in Oneonta with his family: wife, Brittany, and two children, Kenyon (3) and Fiona (6).
