Founded in 1941, the 2024-2025 school year marks the 84th edition of the Redskin Band. We are proud to be the largest student organization at Oneonta City Schools.

James McDonald, Director of Bands
James McDonald is in his third year of service at Oneonta City Schools, first as the head director of bands, and fourteenth year of teaching overall.
He lives in Oneonta with his family: wife, Brittany, and two children, Kenyon (3) and Fiona (6).
