Educators will be spending the day on some Professional Development during this day. As a result, there is no school for students.
Parents are welcome to join us on Dec. 11th for our Chapel Hill family Advent Mass at 11:00AM. Father Virgil will join us from Good Sheperd Church.
We've started a new lunch option for this upcoming week! It is too late to order for this week, but parents can order through School Cash Online before noon on Sunday for the week ahead. Tuesdays (Subway) and Thursdays (Pita Pit).
All of the ordering, payments and tracking will be done through the School Cash Online portal. So simple for parents!
Parents can order on a weekly basis, choosing to opt in or out anytime they wish, and even change orders week to week. All orders for the week are due by noon on Sunday.
Every order makes money for our school, which benefits our students!
Parents have the option to donate to the "Give a Lunch Program" where donations can be used by our school to purchase lunches for students in our school who might benefit.
Orders come delivered to the school, organized by class, and labelled with the student's names.
We know how important it is to keep your children safe and to stay on top of bus cancellations, especially on snowy days! Many of our amazing students ride the buses provided by OSTA, the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority.
Here are the best ways to get reliable, timely updates so you can plan your morning:
Short-term cancellations and delays
Day to day short-term cancellations (including storm-related cancellations) are posted to this page and subscribers are notified via email as they happen.
Long term cancellations
Any cancellations lasting longer than a few days are posted to the long-term cancellation lists.
Stay Informed with OSTA’s Progressive Web App! 📲
To better serve you, OSTA has developed a progressive web application (PWA) to keep you updated on your child’s transportation status. Receive alerts, updates, and cancellations via push notifications.
As the weather turns colder, please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for school. Remember that students spend a fair amount of time outdoors each day, so hats, gloves, and warm coats are essential! To help us reunite misplaced items with their owners, please label all winter clothing clearly with your child's name. Finally, our Lost & Found is overflowing—if your student is missing something, please check the bin located near the main office soon.
