Welcome!

Welcome to my website! This is the place to find out about the amazing things we'll be doing this semester. This is my sixth year at MAC and while these past few years have certainly been the strangest of my teaching career, I'm still looking forward to meeting all my new students and getting to know you better!

At the top navigation bar you can find links to your course. I'll post info about what we're doing in class, as well as ongoing projects and upcoming deadlines. I'll also post useful information and links to some of the stuff we're talking about in class.

About Me

This will be my sixth year of teaching at Immaculata, but I feel like I've been here forever! I've been teaching with the OCSB since 2008. Over the years I've taught English, Drama, History, Law, Religion, and even Geography! I did my undergrad at Carleton and my teaching degree at the University of Ottawa, and I've done additional courses as well through Queens, Western, Windsor, and St Paul. I've also taken theatre courses in many different places, and I've been fortunate enough to perform in different venues across Ottawa and Toronto.

I've been involved with the Cappies for a number of years, and also the Canadian Improv Games. The past few years I've directed our school plays and musicals, and I'm excited to direct our play this year. I have a very impressive cookbook collection, I'm really good at stage makeup, and sometimes I perform in local theatre. I've been married for over 10 years, and my husband and I have two adorable kids- Chelsea, in Grade Seven, and Jacob, who is in Grade Four, (I need to update these pictures lol) and a little black cat, named Sadie.
